My stay at Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel was quite enjoyable overall, with some beautiful views and friendly staff. The beds were comfortable, but the rooms felt quite basic and a bit dated for the price. While the dining options were plentiful and quite good, I did find the loud atmosphere during meals a little distracting. I loved spending time at the spa and pool, which added to the relaxation experience.

My stay at the Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel was a mix of pleasant experiences and some disappointment. The surroundings are simply beautiful, nestled in a botanic garden with stunning views of the Dead Sea. However, the hotel's facilities felt a bit dated, and there were a few service hiccups that detracted from the overall experience. The food was excellent, particularly at the buffet, but my room's proximity to the noise from the parking area made relaxing a challenge.

My room, while clean, was not as private as I'd hoped, situated close to the lobby and a busy parking lot. It felt more like a budget accommodation than a luxury hotel, especially given the price.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly overall, but some members provided less-than-stellar service, particularly the female staff who seemed disinterested and unhelpful when I had questions.
Location

The hotel's location is fantastic for exploring the region, with amazing views. However, it is somewhat isolated, with the nearest beach requiring a shuttle and tractor ride, which is a bit inconvenient.
Dining

Dining was a highlight of my stay. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a fantastic variety of options and were well-prepared, making the dining experience enjoyable.
Facilities

While the gardens and pools were lovely, the hotel itself felt a bit dated, and there were visible areas of neglect that could use some refurbishment.

I had a mixed experience at the Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel. The beautiful grounds and stunning views truly stand out, but several elements fell short of expectations. While my room was clean and had a nice shower, the lack of some basic amenities was disappointing. The dining options were decent, but not as high quality as I'd hoped, and I faced some service hiccups during my stay.
Rooms

The room was clean and modern, with a nice shower. but lacked basic items like lotion and a wine opener. Also, there were issues with maintenance that required me to switch rooms due to a broken AC.
Service

While some staff members were helpful, I experienced inconsistency. For instance, I felt the response from the reception was indifferent at times, which was frustrating.

The hotel's location is fantastic, with amazing views of the Dead Sea. It's a great starting point for hikes and visits to nearby attractions, but access could be improved.
Dining

Dining options were acceptable, with a solid breakfast spread. However, some of the food, like the canned fruit, could use improvement for a more authentic experience.

The facilities were beautiful but a bit dated. While the pool areas were nice, lack of privacy at some pools detracted from the experience.

My stay at Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel was quite lovely overall, especially with the beautiful views and the really good dining options. However, the experience was marred a bit by some cleanliness issues in the rooms and noise levels during meals. The unique location is a major highlight, but the service in some areas, particularly at the reception, could use improvement. 😊

The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony was spacious and clean, though I noticed some cleanliness issues in other areas of the hotel. The design was modern, but some visitors have mentioned that the lower-category rooms did not meet expectations.
Service

The staff was overall friendly and accommodating, especially in the dining areas. However, some encounters at the reception felt less welcoming, and there seemed to be a lack of attention in service during busy times. More training could help elevate the experience.

The hotel is perfectly situated on the desert slopes overlooking the Dead Sea, and it offers easy access to Ein Gedi Nature Preserve and Masada. It's a stunning location for exploring the area's natural beauty.

Dining at the hotel's buffet was a highlight, with a massive selection of fresh and delicious Israeli breakfast foods. Dinner options were also good, though the atmosphere could be improved with better acoustics.

My stay at Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel was a mix of good and disappointing moments. The rooms, while simple and comfortable, showed some signs of wear and could use a refresh. The staff was generally friendly, but I encountered some inconsistency in service. The hotel’s location, surrounded by stunning views of both the Dead Sea and the desert, made the experience more enjoyable. The dining options, especially breakfast and Shabbat dinner, were quite good, though the restaurant could benefit from an update.

The junior suite I booked was a bit dingy compared to the pictures online, though I found my room in the garden to be comfortable. Some upgrades are definitely needed.

The spa area was relaxing and presented a quiet escape, but the smaller swimming pools could be improved and the main pool was closed unexpectedly.
